Qingdao Potato Limited, a joint-stock technology enterprise, was established in April 2003 with a registered fund of $30 million, mainly in the fields of seeding, technical guidance for planting and marketing of potatoes. In line with the Government-driven, market-oriented, science-supported and business-led approach to development, the company adheres to standardized production + branding, market-based operations + information support, regionalization and co-operation + management, moving out of the potato industry to attract, breed, multiply, push and sell, and becoming the lead company in the potato industry in the city of Guezhou and led the establishment of the Keezhou City Potato Association in 2004.
